Para los que no me la compraron la primera vez que hable de esta gran banda, aqui les viene otra canción. Estoy hablando de Blitzkid, banda de Horror Punk de Bluefield, Virginia. La primera vez les mostre una canción del primer EP y cantada por TB Monstrosity (Guitarra y Voz). Esta vez les traigo una canción del último álbum y cantada por Argyle Goolsby (Bajo y Voz). Las influencias musicales del no tan pequeño guitarrista van desde Megadeath a Bad Religion, en cuanto al si muy terrorifico bajista de la banda, sus influencias son bandas como The Clash, Buddy Holly y The Doors entre otras. Todos estos datitos los puedes ver en su sitio, que esta bastante entretenido.

Elegí Terror In The Haunted House por que tiene un sonido muy especial. Algo que mencioné en el post anterior, y que claramente repetiré ahora, es que me encanta como muchas de sus canciones, al muy estilo Misfits, son historias o descripciones de personajes o monstruos. Este caso no es una excepción, aunque un poco si, ya que nos describe la historia de una persona encerrada en una caja embrujada, pero más aun nos describe esta casa, y con detalles muy muy buenos.

Les recomiendo totalmente escuchar la canción mientras van leyendo la letra, realmente vale la pena darse la lata. Personalmente me imaginé la caso con muchisimo detalle. Denle una vuelta a esta banda si les gusta, no se van a arrepentir.

Love Like Blood es una de las canciones que más me gustan de Blitzkid. ¿WTF? ¿Qué es Blitzkid? Son un grupo estadounidense (si, no “americano”) de horror punk, muy en la onda de The Misfits.

A pesar de que en esta canción la caja suena media tarro, me gusta muchisimo, especialmente el cambio que hacen de lento a rápido. No puedo evitar amar cambios como ese. El tema es rápido y agresivo sin dejar de estar bien cantado, sin chillar ni gritar ininteligiblemente. Esta es definitivamente un banda muy recomendada si te gustan los Misfits y ese estilo. La banda fue engendrada el ‘97 y hasta ahora han sacado 4 discos.
