Luego de volver del autoexilio de fin de año provocado por el estrés, y cuando digo estrés, hablo de canas, bruxismo e insomnio. Así que mis disculpas a los jefes, y a los pocos pero fieles lectores.

Pocas bandas son capaces de mejorar con el tiempo, y muy pocas son capaces de negar su pasado y salir airosos bajo la nueva faceta, pero no hablo de experimentar nuevos géneros, hablo de esas bandas que dicen, “esto no lo haremos nunca más” y siguen manteniéndose frescos. Por que seamos honestos, para ennumerar decepciones tenemos largas listas, pero para los éxitos, siempre es difícil ponernos de acuerdo.

En ese sentido, quiero rescatar uno de esos cambios que si fueron para mejor, de una banda que decidió dejar los gritos y los riffs metaleros por los que se hicieron famosos, y se han dedicado a producir un rock mucho mas pop, pero no por eso menos malo. Debo reconocer que al principio odié el cambio y si no es por el shuffle de mi itunes hubiese pasado al olvido junto a cientos de discos malos de bandas que solían ser buenas.
